| Sure 450whp is achievable with JWT550, though I'm worried that these will be maxing their potential and burn themselves out in due course. I'm also concerned as I'm quoting Bernie in a historic tt.net post that JWT dosnt recommend the 550 for 5sp manual due to the automatic housing being used. I queried this further with JWT in an email but have had no responce as yet. The bigger turbo alternative like a 2860RS with supporting mods should still be reliable, fun, and um adequate to nip to the diary for milk as well as thrash for the occasional track day. I received an email with a dyno chart of 463 rwHP from a member here as a result of this post. To quote a segment "I was concerned that the GT2860RS turbos might be a bit big for daily driving, and lack low end, but I was wrong." It also appears to reinforce my hopes/power goal vs psi whilst using the mods I am planning for. I actually have a fully modified NA 300zx for the street (everything short of NOS~300HP). So I'll look at the TT more as the "other fix" that will get treated to mainly track days, and long cruises to and from. Bearing that in mind I'm currently feeling more comfortable with investing in the GTX2863R setup.
